Celebrating Excellence: Minister Applauds King Ceasor University’s Graduation Triumph

Amidst cheers and accolades, King Ceasor University basks in the glow of success as the Minister of Education and Sports, Mrs. Janet Museveni, showers praise on the institution’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence, especially in the realm of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

At the university’s recent graduation ceremony, the First Lady, represented by State Minister for Higher Education, John Chrysostom Muyingo, lauded the remarkable achievements of the 240 graduates hailing from 11 different countries. Mrs. Museveni emphasized the global presence of King Ceasor University, showcasing Uganda’s prowess in delivering quality higher education.

In her address, the minister highlighted the exceptional contributions of the School of Medicine, Health, and Life Sciences, which proudly conferred degrees upon 102 graduates. She underscored the vital role of research, innovation, and publications in university education, urging graduates to harness their analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to navigate the challenges of the modern world.

Mrs. Museveni urged the graduands to view their academic journey not merely as an acquisition of knowledge but as a pathway to developing resilience, critical thinking, and life skills essential for success. Emphasizing the importance of values such as honesty, commitment, and patriotism, she encouraged them to apply their expertise to effect positive change in their communities.

Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, echoing the sentiments of the minister, applauded King Ceasor University for its unwavering commitment to quality education. He hailed the institution’s significant investment in education, which has not only created employment opportunities but also paved the way for transformative change in Uganda.

Inspirational words continued to flow as HE HM King Ceasor Mulenga T.G, Chancellor of King Ceasor University, imparted words of wisdom to the graduates. Encouraging them to embrace hard work, dedication, and innovation, he urged them to become agents of change in society, harnessing their potential to make a lasting impact.

Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, Chairperson of the University Council, reiterated the university’s vision of becoming a center of excellence in higher education. Highlighting King Ceasor University’s focus on key areas such as medicine, health, engineering, and technology, he emphasized the institution’s commitment to research, innovation, and international partnerships.

Amidst celebrations, the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Charity Mulenga, proudly announced the accreditation of all academic programs by the National Council for Higher Education, a testament to the university’s dedication and hard work.
